In collaboration with the Education Bureau, the Working Group on Business-School Partnership Programme of the Pro Bono Committee (“PBC”) organised a guided visit and sharing session for Form 4 to Form 6 secondary school students to the Department of Justice (“DOJ”) on 3 October, with a total attendance of around 85 students and teachers from 11 secondary schools.
The Visit started with group photo-taking and welcoming remarks delivered by PBC Chairlady Serina Chan, followed by a briefing conducted by Ms. Grace Man, Chief Executive Officer (Visit Unit) of DOJ. Students were then divided into two groups to take part in the sharing session and the heritage tour on rotational basis.
Students were led to visit the media room, function room and conference room (the previous administrative conference room) in the heritage tour. At the sharing session, five Government Counsel from different legal divisions of DOJ introduced their daily work and shared their experience with the students in small groups. Through the sharing, students were able to know more about the career and life as a government lawyer.
