The Law & New Generation Programme and School Talks Working Group (“WG”) under the Community Relations Committee (“CRC”) organised a talk for the youths from Sai Kung District on 24 November 2018 morning at the Law Society’s Function Room. Ms. Melinder Yu, Liaison Officer-in-charge (Youth Development) of Sai Kung District Office of Home Affairs Department (“Sai Kung District Office”), leading over 20 youths, including students from secondary schools and tertiary institutions and Sai Kung Youth Ambassadors, attended the talk on the topic of “How to become a lawyer”.
Mr. Sander Ting, member of the WG and Ms. Louise Wong, member of the Standing Committee on External Affairs and Young Solicitors’ Group, shared their career experience during the talk. The youths were very interested in the topic and participated actively during the Q & A session. The talk was well received by the participants and they would like to explore more collaboration opportunity with the Law Society in the future.
The audience enjoyed the talk with cheerful smile.
CRC Chairman Mr. Philip Wong and Council member & Chairlady of the WG Ms. Serina Chan, attended the talk to support the event.
