CUHK Law Celebrates the Class of 2017 at Graduation Ceremony

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) held the 83rd and 84th Congregations for the Conferment of Degrees in November 2017. This year, the Faculty of Law has witnessed over 400 students graduating from its postgraduate programmes (including the LLM, JD, JD-MBA Double Degree, PCLL and PhD) and 77 from the LLB programme.

On 18 November 2017, the Faculty held its Master’s Degree (2016-2017) Graduation Ceremony and had great pleasure to have invited The Honourable Mr. Justice Zervos, Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court, HKSAR to officiate the Ceremony as the Guest of Honour. In his speech, Justice Zervos extended his warmest congratulations, encouragement and good wishes to all graduates; whilst reminding them of the challenges ahead and their responsibility for upholding the rule of law in Hong Kong. The celebration was concluded by a Faculty Graduation Reception where Justice Zervos, the Faculty Dean Professor Christopher Gane, teachers, families and friends, and graduates were invited to attend.

For 2016-17 academic year, over 450 law degrees were conferred at CUHK.
