At the invitation of the China Law Society, President Melissa Pang attended the Forum on the Belt and Road Legal Cooperation, which was jointly organised by the China Law Society and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing on 2 and 3 July. The Forum aims to promote legal cooperation among countries along the Belt and Road, and attracted more than 350 government officials from relevant countries, representatives from international organisations, as well as local and overseas experts and academics to attend. Riding on the Forum, China Law Society and LAWASIA jointly organised a side session entitled “Seminar on Legal Services and International Cooperation”. President Melissa Pang was invited to be the moderator of the session and shared her views on strengthening the cooperation among global legal professions under the Belt and Road Initiative.
