On 15 April, The Law Society held a luncheon entitled “Hong Kong: A Borderless Trade and Investment Environment for ‘Going Global’” on the occasion of Inter-Pacific Bar Association's (“IPBA”) 26th Annual Meeting & Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
It was well attended by 80 overseas delegates. During the luncheon, then Council Member Joseph Li introduced the unique features of Hong Kong’s legal system, while Council Member and Past President Huen Wong shared his insights on the advantages of doing business in Hong Kong. Mr. Robert Rhoda, Member of the Standing Committee on External Affairs, concluded the presentation by explaining what Hong Kong can offer as an international arbitration venue.
