To pre-celebrate the Mother’s Day, the Member Benefit Committee organised a baking workshop on 1 May which was attended by six pairs of members and their mothers. Riding on the success of the Valentine’s Day baking workshop held earlier this year, member Ms. Doreen Kong instructed members again on making almond chocolate tarts for the occasion.
In the workshop, members partnered with their mothers and had great fun rolling the dough, mixing the ingredients and smoothing the top. The tarts were finished beautifully after the participants carefully sifted a layer of cocoa powder on top.
All participants enjoyed the entire baking process and were delighted to see their tasty tarts made alongside with their loved ones.
