The Law Society has arranged a series of lectures under the theme “An Introduction to Legal Services and Risk Management For Cross-border Transactions” for Peking University Law School from March to June this year. Topics such as international legal practice and the operational skills of cross-border legal services were covered in the courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students in law.
The third and fourth lectures were completed in Peking University on 20 April, where Mr Wong Chi Kwong, member of the Corporate Law Committee and Ms Catherine Mun, member of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee spoke on capital market and international commercial dispute resolution respectively. The first and second lectures took place on 30 March.
Moreover, on behalf of the Law Society, President Melissa Pang signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Peking University Law School to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two parties. A forum was also held on the same day to exchange ideas and share experiences.
