The CUHK Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (“PCLL”) class of 2018 organised a graduation dinner at the Kerry Hotel on 5 May 2018. Since 2009, the dinner has become a tradition of the PCLL graduating class and is held every year with support from the CUHK Law community and the legal professions. This year, Mr Philip Dykes SC, Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association was invited by the students to deliver a speech as the Guest of Honour. Along with Mr Dykes, CUHK Law Dean Professor Christopher Gane, PCLL Programme Director Mr Christopher Knight, and other faculty members were present to congratulate the students on their successful completion of the PCLL course, which is tough yet crucial for their career in legal profession. It was a memorable evening that participants enjoyed and had fun over lucky draws and performance.
