Social Enterprise Seminar: The Legal Forms and Corporate Governance of Social Enterprises

On 22 February, the Working Group on Seminars for Social Enterprises of the Law Society’s Pro Bono Committee (“PBC”) jointly organised a seminar titled “Social Enterprise Seminar: The Legal Forms and Corporate Governance of Social Enterprises” with Hong Kong Council of Social Service (“HKCSS”).

The speakers Ms. Michelle Chow, member of PBC and Mr. Albert So introduced to the audience different legal forms of social enterprises and shared practical cases on corporate governance including how to deal with conflict of interests and tax issues. Over 50 representatives from various social enterprises attended the seminar.
