AAIL’s Webinar on “Why Arbitrate in Hong Kong”

In addition to the modernised legal framework for arbitration and streamlined administration procedures, as well as close connection with Mainland China and professionals specialised in handling China-related disputes, Hong Kong has been one of the most favoured seats of international arbitration as well as a prime venue for dispute resolution services.

The webinar titled “Why Arbitrate in Hong Kong”, organised by the Department of Justice and Asian Academy of International Law (“AAIL”) on 31 March, marked the beginning of a series of webinars featuring the one and only Hong Kong. The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Secretary for Justice Teresa Cheng. Leading practitioners in the field of international arbitration examined and exchanged on various issues through case studies, reviewing different negotiating positions and highlighting various core strengths of Hong Kong.
